Captain Mike Bousaleh is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain, and has conducted sport fishing charters in the waters of Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, and Stellwagen Bank, and beyond for nearlly 30 years. Captain Mike has won many area fishing tournaments over the years, and placed top 10 in many ASA & FLW tournament and also is a member of the “50 lb. Striper” club, a rare honor reserved for those who have caught the very largest of Striped Bass. Captain Mike is also a longtime member and former vice president and an officer of Massachusetts Striped Bass Association, the oldest fishing club in New England.
His company, Boston Fishing Charters, LLC, is charter boat fishing guide service that features his two boats, the Ave Maria II, a 29’ Hydrasport, and the Theotokos, a 33’ Bluefin, two other subcontracted boats, and some of the best striped bass, bluefish, tuna and shark fishing in the Boston area. Boston Fishing Charters, LLC is one of the top recreational sportfishing charters in Massachusetts Bay, doing over 200 private charters per season. Boston Fishing Charters also organizes and provides boats and captains for several large annual fishing tournaments in Boston Harbor, in which hundreds and hundreds of people participate. Captain Patrick is a 30 year old Marine Corps Veteran that grew up in Weymouth, MA that has been fishing competitively and for fun for over 20 years and has obtained many awards under The Massachusetts Striped Bass Association that range from the High Individual Award ( most fish caught ) all the way up to Group Leader Award ( Leading A team to victory for most fish caught as a group).
Captain Patrick gained his experience at a young age ( 8 years old ) being coached by his uncle, Captain Mike Bousaleh who is a former Vice President and Officer for the M.S.B.A.
Captain Patrick is known for being energetic, easy going and great with kids. Being on the water with him weather early in the morning or late in the afternoon is always exciting and fun.
Earning the title Captain was a life goal and proud moment for him, being on the water is like being at a home away from home, his passion for catching fish is infectious and enough to make anyone want to get out on the water and strive to land themselves a fish of a lifetime and enjoy the thrill of the chase.
Captain Jonathan Foley Fishing Guide
Captain Jonathan Foley is the “Young Gun” of the fleet, at only 28 years old. Jonathan obtained his 100 Ton Coast Guard Certified Captain’s License in 2012, at the age of 19. He has been navigating Massachusetts waters with Boston Fishing Charters since 2014, learning and applying what works while implementing his own strategies from the wealth of his past experience. Winning his first derby at the age of 6, and placing “First” in his latest tournament, Jonathan has molded himself into an experienced, passionate, and skilled fisherman.
Jonathan would describe himself as a patient, safety conscious, and ambitious person. He strives for his clients to catch the biggest fish of their lives, all while having an amazing time on the water. With over 1500 hours of fishing each season, Captain Jonathan hones his skills and fish-finding abilities each year as he works his hardest to find the bass and tuna, and stay on them all season. You can catch Jon aboard the Ave’ Maria II or the Theotokos in the summer, and in winter, down at the boat yard prepping the boats and gear for the next upcoming fabulous season of fishing!
